The Address Book is a free, open source address management system. You can find more info at: http://www.corvalis.net/address.
Below is a patch I have written for The Address Book 1.04e. It adds support for exporting the address list as a Skype 2.5 .vcf file. You can then use the “restore contacts from file” option of Skype, to import your address list.
